Melbourn Village College is a highly successful 11-16 school where ambitious children thrive.
Strong academic performance across a wide range of subjects has led to the college being in the top 30 per cent of schools nationally for progress made for each of the past five years. Our strong community feel enables all students to flourish within a supportive environment, where each student is known as an individual, and feels valued and empowered.
Our most recent Ofsted Inspection in May 2013 confirmed that we are a ‘good and improving school’ with an ambitious leadership team. This was no accident; at MVC we are committed to improving what we do and aim to be excellent in all aspects of our work. Our recent move to join the Comberton Academy Trust is a clear indication of this intent.
I hope that this website is able to give you a clear introduction to the college and the opportunities we offer to our students. If you would like any further information or to arrange to visit us during the college day, please contact us by phone or email. We would be very pleased to show you around.
