KS3
Students follow a project based course that includes completing work in Resistant Materials, Electronics and Graphics.
Work involves design and make projects that requires the use of computers to help and enhance design work.
KS4
Students have the option of taking the following subjects:
Electronics GCSE
Graphics GCSE
Resistant Materials GCSE
Construction BTEC
Electronics, Graphics and Resistant Materials are modular courses that are 60% controlled coursework and 40% exams.
Construction is a project/coursework only. The subject is suited to those who are looking at a vocational approach to learning and offers a foundation for further study offering equivalent grades to GCSE exams.
